our situation
The presence of our soul in our lives is the deepest mystery, just like presence G-d in our lives. We all have a core/root of who we are. This part of ourselves gets covered up immediately at birth as we focus on our material needs, but it is always there and it reveals itself to us in incredible, but often very challenging ways throughout our entire lives.
our challenge
The body is dominant in this world and the soul becomes secondary to the body’s desires. But really, the soul is our true self and we forget who we really are. That is our situation in this world, but it can be fixed.
our resolution
By living a life of values, positive action and righteousness, we can imbue our physical existence with soul. The more we sanctify our lives, the soul comes closer to our bodies and reveals its light. And the more we sink into materialism, the soul distances itself from our body and our consciousness, and we are left in darkness and ignorance which is a major cause of suffering for humanity.
